The editorial team consists of over 40 writers and editors both working full-time and as freelance agents. This allows BN to gather information from all around the world. All journalists and editors at BN aim to follow the editor’ code of conduct which can be found on editorscode.org.uk. We are a non-basied and apolitical publication; we do not aim or desire to harm anyone or any institution with what we publish. Complaints about any of the editorial should be sent directly to theEDITOR via editor@bnmagazine.co.uk.

If you are new to BN, the style guide below offers a good understanding to what we look for and need to be able to consider printing an article or report.

Written Content

The physical size and graphic style of BN allows us to fit around 800-900 words to a page, and articles more than 1,900 will not be printed. Article written in another language apart from English must be printed before submission. Articles should be sent only as an attachment to the editors office with a brief biography and title of the writer. Not all articles sent through will be published in the magazine but may be published online. No personal emails or websites will be published.

Photographs

All photosgraphs much be of highest resolution and quility (i.e. 300 pdi). Our photo editing team with re-touch the photos according to printing criteria.

Size 10cm x 10cm (or larger)
Format Photoshop 6.0 (saved as a tiff, jpeg)
Colour CMYK
Resolution 300 dpi

Materials should be sent by courier or registered post.
Photographs may be sent in digital format on disc or by email.
